Tales of Midvas - Introduction
Hello, and welcome to Tales of Midvas! I am WildlingKing, the author of this project. I know some of you have read my Game of Thrones fanfictions, but even if you haven’t, giving this story a chance would be greatly appreciated. Or I should say stories, because as the name implies, Tales of Midvas will be a collection of interactive stories that all take place in this fantasy world inspired by the Classical period of the Ancient Greece.

It is year 652 After the Fall of Kyria. Barvian Empire’s rule has spread to the doorstep of the Herian civilization, forcing the quarrelsome states to cooperate. However, seeds of doubt are in the hearts of both Herians and Barvians. It is whispered throughout the Herian world that the King of Gatia is plotting to conquer all the Herian states under his rule. Meanwhile across the sea, the old emperor of Barvia is yet to choose his heir, and tensions are rising between the supporters of his three sons.
So, how does this work?
Tales of Midvas is interactive, meaning that you can submit your own characters, and the stories themselves might sometimes include choices that influence the plot and potentially the world as a whole. Each story will follow a single PoV, which I have (usually) chosen from among the submitted characters. These stories all take place in the same universe and canon, there may even be connections and shared characters between them, but the priority of each episode is to tell its own story. And of course, if a particular PoV’s story is well-liked, they may get another one in the future.
So, what are the stories about?
This depends very much on what kind of characters you submit. If I get an interesting character that is a soldier, I may tell a war story. If I get an interesting character that is a politician, I may write an episode focusing on political drama. Or if I get a character hellbent on avenging their loved ones, I may write a revenge story, I’m sure you get the idea.
So, will every submitted character eventually get their own episode?
Not necessarily. Though I will certainly always consider it, I might see some characters working better as either supporting cast on another character’s episode, or perhaps even as an antagonist.
