Hey folks, I thought it would be nice to have a little poll between us FoT readers while we wait for the story to continue. I hope that's alright, Liquid So, which region in this story do you find the most interesting? Personally I'm leaning towards Riverlands. Aside from the Reach it is probably the region that has gotten the most screentime so far, but more importantly I think it has the most interesting ongoing conflict. The tyrannical rule of Harren the Black, the rebelling rivermen, and now the approaching outside threat of the Targaryens. Safe to say I'm hyped to see it all come into escalation.

I voted for the Reach because well, the plurality of the plot is there, so it's the most fleshed out.

Dorne will always have a special place in my heart. It really boils down to two things. First: House Dayne which is the best House that there ever was or will be, is in Dorne. Second: Dorne don't bow to no one but who they choose. Try and invade em, go ahead. I dare you.

Ah, that is a very nice idea While I don't have a favourite region in general (though I do have favourite PoV's), I am really intrigued by which regions you all consider to be interesting. Of course, some, such as North, Vale and Westerlands, really haven't seen much action so far, but I hope to change that in time. Ideally, all regions will offer something of interest before the end of the story, but seeing which you like (and especially which you don't, at this point) is really helping a lot. Also, I am really glad to see Dorne so high up there. The storyline there is rather new, but seeing it so well-received is making me happy, especially as we'll get a second Dorne PoV in the next chapter.

Quite difficult to choose really gotta say that after reading through Book 2 second chapter Thorns the Vale storyline seems really interesting, with the three companies and the Iron Bank other stuff like the feud between Shett and Grafton with this time around existing a possibility for the two to be plotting together due to their shared hatred/dislike for the Royces.
I see much potential there but of course Dorne has been really fun so far with Essos being a blank canvas and the Reach just having a lot to say still I'm sure.
It's quite the challenge just not being excited by the plot's future.

I am glad the Vale storyline left such an impression on you, because I have a lot in store for it and I really look forward for some of the twists I have planned there. A few of Book 2's absolute highlights will involve Lachlan, the Hawk and their respective cast of characters. Also, while I have no further Essos PoV planned beyond the ones already there, expect the continent to open up a lot in the coming chapters, I have some very exciting locations I cannot wait to show there in future parts

I can confirm it has been a treat reading through the content that you've been creating for years, will be keeping an eye both on new content and that rewrite of earlier parts you told me about. Must be exciting to see it all come together.
